Regardless of economic status, people deserve basic services which protect their life, maintain their liberty, and create an environment where the pursuit of happiness is even possible.

Basics For All is just a small piece in the overall fight for universal healthcare, housing, broadband, and other necessary services. We design print-on-demand products geared towards wearing or otherwise showcasing the causes you support. Medicare for All, Housing for All, Broadband for All, and other campaigns defined over time, are all demands not questions. Wear them as statements of fact, because the fact is all of these concepts are not only possible but long overdue.

This is a fully print-on-demand store. We partner with a variety of platforms to get the best products, for the best price, with as limited environmental impact as possible. We’re not perfect and we’re learning as we grow, so print-on-demand allows us to get a feel for designs and campaigns that resonate with like-minds around the world while constantly researching the best sources with the lowest environmental impact.

By sourcing through established print-on-demand providers, we can filter for eco-friendly products that people will actually like. Additionally, our general footprint is significantly smaller than other retailers since we hold no inventory and every product is manufactured when ordered.

Since we absolutely see the irony of a business selling goods that demand free services, we’ve pledged to donate no less than 10% of all profits to different charitable organizations in the United States that provide housing, healthcare, food, and other essentials of life.

Additionally, with each Basics For All product you purchase, one mangrove tree is planted in Madagascar through our partnership with Sprout. This Sprout integration allows a percentage of each sale to be contributed towards reforestation efforts that revive natural habitats, improve coral reef health, support local livelihoods, and aid in the fight against climate change by extracting CO2 from the air. Trees are planted by Eden Reforestation Projects, in partnership with thegoodapi.com.

Beyond the donation of 10% of all profits and planting a tree with every Basics demand you make, the “good cause” that you serve by shopping with Basics For All is simply taking part in - if not outright starting - the conversation. We can’t go around telling every person we talk to in a day how important universal healthcare is, but we can wear a shirt that succinctly states how all people should be enrolled in Medicare - a program that already exists and people like. By owning and using our products, you start the conversation without uttering a word. People see it whether they want to or not; if they have something to say about it - good.

The short answer is, “It depends.” Our products come from a variety of suppliers, each with a different estimate regarding production. We hope that all products will arrive no later than 2 weeks from the date of order. That said, most things are outside of our control and life can be cruel.
